The Concession Stand Network is creating the Concession Industry’s first product incubation model helping new start-up and merging brands.
The Concessions Industry has evolved over the years to offer a number of new products; easier ways to dispense and serve as well has become a favorite for retro themed programs.
Our History in the Concessions Industry
Our founders started their careers with dominant pioneers in the concessions industry (Nestle, Coca Cola, Pepsi) and evolved into creating their own products (some seen in concession stands nationwide). They were also co-founders of a number of well-known healthy brands also seen in concession operations every-where (ex Nature’s Bakery).
They also have over 30-years participating in the key industry trade events (NACCS, Cinemacon, ShoWest, IAAPA, Fun Expo, WWA, BPAA, etc) as well working with all of the operators in the movie theatre industry as well as family fun centers, theme parks, water parks, bowling centers, national parks, campgrounds and many others.

Las Vegas, often referred to as the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” holds a unique and vital role in the world of entertainment, hospitality, and business. Its importance is underscored by its renowned restaurants, which range from celebrity chef establishments to diverse international cuisines, making it a global culinary destination. Furthermore, Las Vegas is synonymous with the casino industry, boasting some of the world’s most iconic gaming establishments, attracting millions of tourists each year.
The city has also made significant strides in professional sports with the introduction of the Golden Knights in the NHL and the relocation of the Raiders to the Allegiant Stadium, along with the anticipated arrival of the Oakland A’s, strengthening its position in the sports world. Moreover, Las Vegas is home to numerous world-class golf courses and state-of-the-art stadiums and arenas, catering to sports enthusiasts and concert-goers alike. Additionally, it serves as a hub for higher education, with several colleges and universities in the area. Lastly, Las Vegas hosts core concessions industry trade shows like CinemaCon, NAC, NACS, and the Tailgating Show, bringing together professionals from various sectors, showcasing the city’s importance in shaping trends and innovations in the concessions industry, not just locally, but on a national and international scale.
Concessions, in the context of food and beverages served in venues like movie theaters, ball fields, or other entertainment settings, refer to the snacks, drinks, and culinary items available for purchase to enhance the overall experience of attendees. These items often include popcorn, candy, hot dogs, nachos, and soft drinks, among others. Concession stands or counters are typically located within the venue, providing convenient access to refreshments for patrons while attending an event or enjoying entertainment. Revenue generated from concession sales can significantly contribute to the profitability of the venue or event and may help offset operational costs or support the overall entertainment experience.
A-number of entertainment, travel and sports venues (ex: movie theatres, community theatres) depend on concessions as their number one area for profits. Along with increased attendance and growth in box office revenues from increased ticket prices, concessions sales grew with higher concessions per capita for the public cinema operators. The average concessions per capita for the five major North American operators (“Top 5”) in 2015 was $4.28 versus $3.93 in 2014, representing a 9.0% year over year growth rate.
Of each dollar spent in concessions today, roughly 85 cents is profit, says Warren Miller, a senior equity analyst who tracks theater chains. “Any time someone brings in outside food, that hurts their bottom line,” he says. “The more they enforce a no-outside-food policy, the better they’ll be from a financial perspective.” And unlike raising ticket prices, it’s a change that’s unlikely to keep consumers from coming into theaters.
